✨ The Story of the Temple ✨
When Jesus was 12 years old, He traveled to Jerusalem with Mary and Joseph for the Passover festival. After the festival, Mary and Joseph started the journey home, thinking Jesus was with their group. But Jesus stayed behind in the temple. Mary and Joseph searched for three days before finding Him. He was sitting with the teachers, listening to them, and asking questions. Everyone who heard Him was amazed at His understanding. When Mary asked, “Why did you stay here?” Jesus replied, “Didn’t you know I must be about my Father’s business?” Even as a child, Jesus knew His purpose was to do God’s will.
