✨ The Story of the Wilderness ✨
After His baptism, Jesus went into the wilderness to spend time with God. He fasted for 40 days and nights, which means He didn’t eat any food. Then, the devil came to tempt Him. First, the devil said, “If you are the Son of God, turn these stones into bread.” But Jesus replied, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word from God.” Next, the devil took Jesus to the top of the temple and said, “Jump off! If you are God’s Son, the angels will catch you.” Jesus said, “It is written, you shall not test the Lord your God.” Finally, the devil showed Jesus all the kingdoms of the world and said, “I will give all this to you if you worship me.” Jesus said, “Get behind me, Satan! You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only.” Then the devil left, and angels came to care for Jesus.
