🐝 John Prepares the Way

πŸ“– Found in Matthew 3:1 to 12 and others

✨ The Story of John ✨

A long time ago, before Jesus started His work, there was a man named John the Baptist. John was a special messenger from God. He lived in the wilderness, wearing clothes made of camel’s hair and eating locusts and wild honey. His message to the people was simple: β€œRepent! Turn away from your sins and follow God.” Many people came to listen to John. He baptized them in the Jordan River, showing that they wanted to leave behind their sins and obey God. Some thought John might be the promised Savior, but John said, "I am not the Messiah! Someone greater is coming, and I am not even worthy to untie His sandals." John was talking about Jesus! He was preparing the people to meet their Savior.
