✨ The Story of the Star ✨
Far away, special scholars called wise men studied the stars. One night, they saw a new, super bright star! They knew this star was a special sign that a new, great King had been born, and they felt they must go find Him to worship Him. So, the wise men started their long journey, following the shining star across deserts and mountains, day and night. After many weeks, the star led them to Jerusalem. Excited, they asked everyone, "Where is the newborn King? We came to worship Him!" News of their questions reached King Herod, who was not kind and felt troubled about a "newborn King." Herod secretly called the wise men. He asked them about the star and then said, "Find the baby and tell me so I can worship Him too." As the wise men left Herod, their wonderful star appeared again! They felt so happy and full of joy! The star moved, leading them out of Jerusalem and right to a humble house where they found Mary, Joseph, and the young child Jesus. The wise men immediately knew they found the King. They knelt before Jesus, showing Him great respect and worship. They opened their treasure chests and gave Jesus three valuable gifts: gold for a king, frankincense for God, and myrrh. God warned the wise men in a dream not to return to Herod. So, they traveled home a different, secret way, full of joy!
